Some confusion on Social Groups and Social Forums, so here are some helpful links. First off, here are all the Social Groups. These Social Groups can be turned into Social Forums. Any Bold Member can make a Social Group, but there are certain requirements for turning one into a Social Forum. You can read about those right here.
Introduce Yourself! From the day I was born, I took the bull by the horns, and gave you plenty to scorn, well right on! Then you said in a song that life was gettin' real tough, but hey I think that you're bluffing, what of it? Introduce yourself (right on!)
Hey everyone!!!!
I'm not great at this introduction stuff, so bear with me.
I've been a member since March I believe, so I figured it is time to introduce myself.
I'm a rather shy person, and I have a little bit of social anxiety. (exactly why I don't post much on here...I'm afraid of not fitting in) I'm a dork I know... but anyone else with anxiety like me should understand.
Well...here goes nothing.
I'm Nicole, 19, with a 2-year-old daughter....Dasia. She's my world, the reason I breathe. I was definately a troubled teen before I became pregnant. I don't even try to think about where I would be without her...probably on the front page of DD. (not really, but you get the drift)
I have a fasination for true crime and oddities of the world. Currently, I am working at a Metal Fabrication Shop as an Engineering Assistant. It's relatively easy job granted the fact that my step father owns a percentage of the shop, and he is the Engineer that I assist....lol.
Eventually I want to become a specialist on crimes against children & elderly. Also, I want to help out troubled children and teens. My family always tells me that I can't help everyone in the world, but the way I look at it, I can try. Every little bit helps.
I also love to dance (mostly hip hop) and I'm obsessed with fashion. Shoes and undies are my love. I have lots and lots and lots of both.
I found DD reserching a story I read on CrimeLibrary....and have been here nearly every day since. My family thinks I'm addicted....and I think they're right. I'm constantly going home telling my sister "OH MY GOSH I READ THE CRAZIEST SHIT ON DREAMINDEMON TODAY!!!"
I don't know what else to say except be easy on me!!!!
(don't kill me if my spelling is bad...it's not my strong point....numbers are)

Have you tried uploading directly from your own computer to make a custom avatar? That is what I did. Uncertain whether the file has to be a jpg file. Mine is. Probably one of the owners can enlighten us.......

A metal fabrication shop, huh? What kind of work? Sheet metal? Speciality? Auto or aero?
I was in the metal business for many a moon. Frankly, although it was fantastic experience, I'm happy to be out of it. I'll never have to clean another CNC machine again. :D
Thanks for introducing yourself, and a belated "welcome" to you. :)

Hi DPM! Don't be shy! Everybody on here will help walk you through whatever you want - trust me, they've all helped me a whole lot. I think most of on here are addicted and it really is empowering to be able to say the words fuck, asshat, dickwad, douchebag, dumbass, stoopid piece of shit, etc. on here and everybody nods and gives you thanks for saying what's on your mind. Feel free to private message any of us to get help if you need it.
I'm predicting you're going to be a rock star on posting all the dirty little tidbits you can find.

Hi DPM and welcome :). I know what ya mean about being addicted to this site, my boyfriend just shakes his head whenever I talk about this site haha. He reads some of the stories when I tell him about them, but other ones he's just like, "oh, okay." This is the best true crime site I've ever come across, and that's just because I love the humor here!

We do a multitude of things, custom fabrication, enclosures, contract manufacturing, signs, pretty much anything you can think of, we helped rebuid the subways after 911, shit, we even make those things in the cell phone stores that holds the sample phones on the counter so nobody steals them (my description is not good, so hopefully ya'll will know what I'm talking about). Yes ma'am, cleaning ANY machine is a pain, let alone the CNC (Strippit) it's the most used, so by far the most dirty.
I work in the Engineering office, so I do not get dirty, much.
Unless they want me to run a brake press, or the CNC...then it's dirty time for me... lol.
I don't mind getting dirty from time to time but not in the working sort-of way. lol.
Hopefully soon, I will get pregnant (trying sooooooo hard!!) and be able to take a few months off, its exausting working here.
(sorry it took so long to reply, I was having some log in difficulties)
