BEAN STATION, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a man accused of shooting or stabbing four family members in East Tennessee.
William Randall Crawford, 34, went to his wife's parents' home in Bean Station, located about 58 miles northeast of Knoxville, around 10 p.m. Saturday, said Randy Holt, Grainger County 911 director.
There he allegedly shot his way through a pair of doors at the home, and one of the bullets grazed his mother-in-law Loretta Dalton's head.
He then shot his father-in-law Jeff Dalton and stabbed him in the abdomen, Holt said.
Crawford also stabbed his wife Emily Crawford, 32, in the leg and his son Austin Crawford, 15, in the chest.
While attacking his son, Crawford's 13-year-old daughter Candace Crawford tried to wrestle the weapons away from her father, and he bit her on the hand before fleeing, Holt said.
BEAN STATION (WATE) -- The man accused of attacking five of his family members in Bean Station last weekend was taken into custody Wednesday morning next door to the attack scene, ending a four day manhunt.......
