Synjan Mitchell does not take babysitting seriously
Quote:
A teenage baby-sitter left a toddler and infant alone in an apartment while she went out drinking, police said.
The children's mother told police she had her boyfriend's sister, Synjan Mitchell, 18, baby-sit her 5-month-old daughter and 21-month-old son.
The mother told police that she came home around 11 p.m. and found the front door of her apartment open.
She told police that there was loud music playing, beer cans scattered on the floor and her two children were home alone. A few minutes later, Mitchell returned and appeared to be intoxicated, according to a police report.
The two women got into an argument and Mitchell slapped the mother of the children in the face.
A neighbor said he saw Mitchell leave the apartment about a half hour before the mother arrived home. The neighbor said that Mitchell told him the children were in bed and she was going out to get cigarettes.
Mitchell told police she was in an argument with the children's mother and that the mother attacked her. She also told police she left the apartment but had the children with her. Mitchell admitted to police she was drinking that night, according to police reports.
The suspect was booked on child abuse and underage consumption of alcohol.
Before I quit working (because honestly I like working) I had my kids with a babysitter in my home. This woman was a really good friend of mine. I had known her at the time for 8 years. I came home the last day she babysit and found her passed out on my couch because she took to much Xanax. My 3 year old was wandering around my house and the 4 month old was sleeping FACE DOWN on my bed while her own child was in my babies crib. I was livid. If she had smacked me on top of it I would have straight killed her, no joke.

I'm so glad the mother arrived when she did. Who knows what this stupid bitch might have done while intoxicated, stupid and alone with babies...you know how babies don't give a fly if you're drunk, they demand attention!

You forgot the part where Synjan Mitchell told the police that the mother of the children had attacked her first and that's why she slapped her. This girl needs a good hard slap upside the head. Several times.

I agree. Jeez, I'd be surprised if the mother DIDN'T attack her first. If someone left MY babies alone (in an unsecured apartment no less) while they went out drinking, there would be no end to my wrath.
