JoySickForum for discussing games in the horror and action genres no matter what format. Although this forum was made with console and pc gaming in mind, the good old board game is also perfectly acceptable.
That's right, the makers of Lego Star Wars are putting together the next installment, tentatively titled "Lego Indiana Jones". This will be in the same vein as the Star Wars games - Collecting studs, 2 player fun, free play and the hilarious scenes made famous in the Star Wars series.
Should be released Summer 2008, and while the systems haven't been announced, chances are it will hit all of platforms.
I'm stoked! I loved the Star Wars games, especially the second one, so this is welcomed in my house!

As I've told you before, I thought that turning video games into Legos (or is it vice/versa?) seemed like a totally asinine idea, but it is SO nifty in so many different ways that you can't help but get hooked. I love the Star Wars version so much that I wish they had made more SW movies so that they could make more Lego games. This Indy version answered my prayers, and I believe it will kick much ass. Summer '08 can't come soon enough.
Hmmm. I have crossed it (and the other Lego games) a few times in Blockbuster...but never snagged it. I'm personally waiting on that highly anticipated Saw game. :he: Wow...what if it were in Lego? :erf:
Never happen. The Lego games are riotously funny. The only thing funny about Saw was Cary Elwes' "acting" performance. Seriously - they put concealer on his lips at one point! I swear. It was crap. The movie itself could have been better, could have been worse, and usually I like Elwes, but here, he SUCKED.
You ought to at least give the games a rent (what platform do you have, if any?) and see what I'm talking about. I needlessly poo-poohed the Lego SW games badly. I ended up eating my words. If you want my opinion, get game number two. Not only does it have more options and such, it revolves around the first three films (ANH, ESB, RotJ) so you get to see Leia smack around some fuckers. Nothing beats Leia bitch-slapping stormtroopers. If she gets in the middle of a crowd, she puts one hand on her hip and gets to smackin'*. It's fucking hilarious!
*I've tried to find video of this. Sadly, it doesn't seem to exist.

I don't own one. I had an XBox 360 but the thing fucked itself to Hell and I bought my beloved brother a PS3 dog ages ago and he took it with him. I'm all out-ta system, dear. :(
I might pick up a Wii. Depends if I'm bored or not, or if I can be convinced. :p

The Lego Star Wars games have been some of the highest reviewed, and most played games to come from both the Star Wars AND Lego camp in a long, long time. I have played all the Lego Star Wars games and had a blast. I have no doubt whatsoever that this Indy-inspired Lego game will see similar results, in both quality and sells, as the Star Wars editions did.

a) But I can get 5 Blu-rays with another PS3 and the graphics too!
But aren't Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs more expensive? Just because you have it, doesn't mean you should spend it...

But the Wii is fun and interactive. It makes your BRAIN work too! Stomping mindlessly on a treadmill is boring.

You REALLY need to check out the Metroid series. In the original game on the NES, the good guy, Samus, is actually a voluptuous blonde woman who kicks MUCH alien ass. Admittedly, and very shamefully, I never played Super Metroid on the SNES (I still have one of those too, but I'm not sure if it works anymore), but I played the original and picked the series back up with Metroid Prime on the Cube. I liked that one only slightly better than Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
The Wii is SO worth it. Maaaaaaaaaaaario Paaaaaaaaaarty Eiiiiiiiiiight. Heehee.
