The entire franchise has been a cluster fuck of shit films ever since the second one. And yeah, I used to love the sequel and thought Bill Mosely was the shit and all that. But now when I watch it, him and Dennis Hopper chew up the scenery so badly, that they ruin the entire movie. As for all the others, they were all shit. The remakes were technically solid, and God knows I love me some Ermey, but I really dislike them to pieces.
Had Hooper been attached to this next film, I would have not expected much anyway. The guy just isn't that good of a director. He made one of my favorite films of all time, and that's about it.

Really? Do we really need a 3D TCM film? You know I have never understood this current trend of 3D horror films that has been going on for the past couple of years. It all seems like one gigantic gimmick to me.
