Corey D. Glancy was apprehended at his home and booked into Tempe City Jail on three counts sexual abuse, three counts assault and one count robbery.
Police officers went to the home after they noticed a truck matching the description of the one seen at the crimes.
Investigators said the first incident occurred at 6:21 a.m. in the 7300 block of S. Hardy after a woman stepped off a bus and began walking down the sidewalk.
Glancy tried to lure the woman into his truck, and then got out and grabbed her by the arm and touched her inappropriately, officers said. The victim was able to get away and call police.
Eight minutes later, in the area of Hardy and Grove Parkway, the Glancy tried to lure another woman who was walking down the sidewalk into his truck, investigators said.
Glancy got out of his truck, chased the woman down, then touched her inappropriately, police said. He then tried to grab the victim's purse, and as she woman struggled with him, he grabbed a piece of her property, officers said. Glancy fled and the victim called police, investigators said.
