Did your raccoon have those long claws? I know a guy that had a pet raccoon, left it in his car for an hour, and when he got back all the leather upholstery was shredded - totally destroyed! LOL Moral of this story: take your raccoon with you!

Like I said, I couldn't read past the first paragraph - it's all how poor monster mom is innocent until proven guilty - I get that it's the law, but in my mind, she proved herself guilty when she neglected to report her missing baby for 31 days - and only then cuz she got caught by her mommy who called police...and decomp/DNA in the trunk of her car. I used to tell my friends I have the perfect idea to take out the enemy in a war..I say gather thousands of Raccoons put little parachutes on them then drop them in enemy terrotory..Trust me they will tear it up in record time..I would bet they could take apart a weapon..I saw mine take shit apart all the time..She took all the covers off of my outlets...

Nope thats OZZI,he was burnt in a fire that killed 48 other animals 8 yrs ago(it was arson,took 2 weeks hunting in ditchs and woods to finally catch him).We had to soak him and peel blisters and wrap him 2xs a day.And after all that I decided to keep him.Cant really tell by his picture there but hes 30 lb maincoon persian.Hes beaUtiful goes 1x a yr and gets chest xrays to make his lungs havent suffered any damage.I put his pic there to show Castille what he looked like.We were on another thread about animal abuse and she thinks we are all crazy cat ladies and I was explaining some are.Im not I have licence and have to abide by laws etc.If they have no papers and have a bunch thats a cat collector.Im not I have all my shit in order to do what I do and I get pissed when people lump everyone into 1 pile and think we are all the same,we arent.

I can NOT deal with reading or hearing about animal abuse....I just can't, it's the one thing I can't handle, it destroys me. I know that sounds odd, being on DD and reading about the child abusers and all the horrible things that happen to children. But thank God there are police and court systems and laws and DD to deal with that. Animals are so innocent and vulnerable and unprotected. I have one cat - and I may be crazy, but I wouldn't call myself a crazy cat lady!
