OMG...how are you living right now? I would have died of shock!!! LOL Kids scare the hell out of me how they have "no fear"......crazy! My oldest broke his wrist snowboarding...I think thats the best story I got!

It was when I was pregnant with my third..I was out shopping and hubby took him to Mt. Charelston....they didnt want to tell me cuz they knew I would FREAK OUT! I didnt find out til like 6 hours later...this was a couple weeks before I was due...they didnt want to send me into labor! LOL

Then they got rear ended on the way home too! On an off ramp...what are the odds????? They were fine.

So....there is this street in Las Vegas...where TONS of guys hang out ....waiting to get "picked up" for work. No...they dont have regular jobs...they are jobless......they wait for regular people....to drive along and say "hey..I need 3 guys to come help me do this or that"....they say how much they want...and they hop in your car...or follow you in theirs.

Crazy.....but it is mostly yardwork, moving...stuff like that.

SO....my husband went and got 3 of them today and they are all in my backyard right now....pulling weeds....pruning trees.....cleaning the whole yard up! $10 an hour for each guy...and my hubby is gonna grill up some dinner for them too....plus beer!

So....I think its great that we can help these people...and they can help us...cuz my yard looks like shit.....and these guys are working their asses off! Hubby is out there helping too!

I was kind of freaked out at first....but I went out there...they are really nice.

Just thought I would share...its alot cheaper than hiring the professionals (though I really think they ARE pros)to do it..and he said there were only 3 guys left by the time he got there...so if he hadn't come along...they might not have made any money for their families today!

Wondering if any of you have a street like that where you live...I had never heard of it til I moved here 8 years ago.

I really think thats the advantage of being teen mom lol.If I had small kids right now they would be walking around with helmets and pillows duct taped to them .And wouldnt be allowed to leave my sight b/c of the freaks of nature out there. We always say if we had anymore kids in this day and age we would home school them b/c of the shit happenming at schools.Heaven is very adventurous! She moved to OK not knowing a soul and we werent to impressed but what can you do??She has always loved all the west there and thats where she knew she wanted to live.

Yeah I am way more careful and worried with this baby. Partly cause I am so much older (19 when I had my first and 31 when I had Seren) and partly cause I had my tubes tied so she is it. Therefore so precious to me. Not that the others weren't. Ahhh, you know what i mean! :P

When Casey was 12 his best friends parents all their family is in Florida. So they were taking Chad out of school for a week and asked if Casey could go along. He had just finished treatment for a really bad illness and I was so clingy it wasnt funny. So Chriss convinced me that he would be fine b/c Chads mom knew just exactly what he had done medically(Chad and Casey were best friends since j/k and still are).So after being convinced I said o.k with the promise they call as soon as he landed etc.So they land and call me from airport. After I finally let him off the phone asking a million questions they get in car to leave and are hit by a van.Keep in mind no one told me for 2 days.Chriss knew and Heaven knew.Everyone decided I didnt need to know.Heaven came walking into the kitchen one night and says"Im going to tell you something b/c I was told not to tell you but if I dont then your going to be really pissed and I dont want you pissed at me b/c I think you should know.Shes 14 at the time and I felt the blood drain from my face waiting for the word "pregnant" to come out!!She says Caseys been in accident and hes ok but he was in hosp overnight b/c the seatbelt had bruised all across his stomach and side.I was a mess theres nothing worse then being a 3 day drive away from your kid whos in hosp(he was out by this time).I flipped all over Chriss up one side and down and made his life a miserable living hell!!Called my mom trying to tell her and bawling couldnt talk and I was so pissed that they decided to cover it up.Poor kid brought me back all these gifts. He had a great time went to disney the whole thing knowing he wouldnt be allowed out of the house again until he was 30!!

That's awesome - I didn't mean that your hubby wasn't a dad to your oldest....just that your mom had a lot of quality time with him that she's missing now - I hope I didn't offend you!

I keep trying to open my mouth to see my new teeth and it won't open, LOL. Sigh, all that work and pain and here I am impatient that I can't see anything!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!
Peeps, I hope your pain meds kick ass over your pain! We miss you here, I know you've been working OT and then dentist-ing - you're amazing, and good thing you planned on taking off time for the recovery! Here's wishing you a speedy recovery, and a gorgeous smile!
