Hi Rebel thanks for thinking of me too..You know sometimes you get in a mood..At least I do..I have been there for a couple of days..Its kind of like a dark cloud above me..It will be ok though I always bounce back..

I don't really like posting when I feel like that..I hate to bring others down..I am the type that wants to make everyone smile ya know..The whole misery loves company thing has always bothered me.You know misserable people who want to make everyone else that way too.I don't get it.If you feel bad why would you want anyone else to..~shrugs~ I read everything posted here though..It makes me smile alot to see how close everyone here is..I LOVE it!!

I'm here... back and forth between cleaning and smoke breaks.

Trying to get everything under control and how I want it, to start my new year and smoke free environment. Makes no sense when I keep stopping for a ciggy.

I'm in a funk. Gotta figure my way out so I figured cleaning will do it.
Part of it is not having my house the way I want, part of it is trying to find away to part with things I no longer need. It's hard having a yard sale because people want everything given to them. I might as well save the headache and post everything on Fayettevilles-Freecycle.

I am happy about one thing though. "That's Clever" is back on HGTV with all new episodes. Love that show. Also love "Cool Tools".

Maybe I've read too many John Grisham books, or maybe I heard a whisper something about CuntCasey eventually going free because of a mistrial on some other blog/chat/news site, or maybe I've just daydreamed it myself, but I'm starting to get a really creepy feeling about just what brand of justice is going to prevail in the case of Caylee's murder.

For some reason today I'm just nervous that all the stuff we DON'T know about the case is getting cooked and stirred up into some wild scenario where Casey walks out of court, (again,) a freed killer high-fiving her brother and whoever else could stand to touch her.

Somebody please talk me down!

I can't stop thinking that some big top-secret attorney-based plan is going to come down the pike where the attorney keeps his client out of a life-in-prison, or death sentence by PURPOSELY MISREPRESENTING the client. What if somebody is actually paying the attorney to act like a stupid idiot, lose the case for his client, walk away with his tail between his legs, and then the client "wins" in the end because she can say she wasn't properly represented... or something like that? A mistrial.

What the heck is wrong with me? I keep thinking things like in the end Cunty is going to say "I wanted to tell the truth but my attorney wouldn't let me." or "I couldn't help it, I got a crush on my lawyer because we spent so much time together and he said he really liked my sex and that if i just kept my mouth shut he would make it all go away and we could be together."

What if Baez's law practice is such a minimal money maker that he's decided he doesn't even want to be an attorney any more and he doesn't even care if he gets disbarred? And what does a lawyer have to do to get disbarred anyway?

I have such a splitting headache. I try to stay away from thinking too much about this because I know it's useless, but I guess I must like mysteries more than I thought I did because even though I try to get away from it, I am still HOOKED!

You're totally not going crazy. Somewhere, soon after I joined I questioned whether Baez was acting that badly on purpose for appeal.

The defendant has the 6th Amendment right to Effective Counsel. Assuming she is convicted, and appeals on Ineffective counsel grounds, from what I have learned, it is VERY HARD to have a conviction overturned. The standard is basically (1) there was a deficiency from counsel (2) But for that deficiency, the result would have been different.
My Bar review course basically said, unless there is something in the record to suggest the defendant is innocent, there really isn't a plausible claim. And yes, I actually whipped out the review notes to check. Florida may be different, but that's the general overview. I doubt there will be evidence to show that w/a different attorney she wouldn't have been convicted.

So, I hope that makes you feel better...

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The lawyer for the Anthony family had a meeting Wednesday with prosecutors in downtown Orlando at the State Attorney's Office. George and Cindy Anthony's attorney, Brad Conway, met with prosecutors and investigators for about an hour Wednesday morning.

According to Conway, he was there to discuss Caylee's x-rays and autopsy photos that the prosecution does not yet want to release to the defense. On Tuesday, Casey Anthony's defense team filed a motion objecting to the state's refusal to turn them over.

Prosecutors say they are refusing to hand over the autopsy photos and x-rays of Caylee Anthony's remains until a judge imposes more restrictions.

The defense wants the pictures of the remains, which were discovered last December, but prosecutors are concerned the photos could be sold to media outlets for financial gain. They want the judge to first issue an order that no copies of the pictures can be made or mailed and that they are only to be used by the defense.

Conway also told Eyewitness News that he's been trying to get immunity for the George and Cindy Anthony.

If you are unaware of who she is, she is a little 2 year old girl that was murdered back in June, her little body was discovered on December 11th. Her mother, Casey Anthony sits in jail waiting for her trial for the murder. She didn't report her daughter missing for 31 days and even then, it was the Grandmother that called the police, not her.

Her family is now shopping around the different networks for the best movie deal to show her funeral and memorial service! These people have made money off their dead grand child for months now. This must stop! This petition worked to stop Lifetime from making a movie, they withdrew their offer to the Anthonys. Now ABC has made a move to offer them money for exclusive rights to this horrendous story. They won't bury her until they get immunity which will then secure their movie deal.

I get the same way especially in the winter.Just too grey sloppy and dull no sunlight etc,etc,etc,.I think its alot of being stuck in the house I live in Canada and right beside Michigan so we get walloped in snow although this yrs been more crappy dull rainy damp shit.So bottom line lol I know how you feel!!
