I may get the next few details out of order a bit, as I was a little flustered at the time. But the essence was this: We all pitched in to track down the phone company that it was listed to. It was an odd name, and turned out to be a company that sells "blocks" of "airspace" (obviously Test is the techy one) to businesses, NOT individuals. Strange. I decided what the hell, and called them to see if they EVER had individual customers. Nope. Aaaahh. In order to get a phone, you had to go thru a complete credit check, supplying SSN's, etc. Man, we had them! We were going to find Caylee, weren't we guys? I think at this point I tried to call LE, kept getting recordings. So our investigation continued. (Not like we were gonna stop, anyway). I wanted to get someone's attention FAST, and so I figured who better to blab about this than Leonard Padilla (aka Toothpick, or Toothy for short). I called him and he said, that number was how he reached Mark Hawkins. I asked how and he said he had called that number and gotten a voicemail, that said it was Mark Stone, and was later able to reach Mark Hawkins that way. Incidentally, the number was not working at the time of our investigation. He was equally freaked about my find.

Toothpick was FREAKED (and yes for those of you wondering our dear Madmommy -cheered by the rest of us----has a personal relationship---friendship with toothpick).....

I grew up on a ranch, too. When we would have to put a horse or cow down, my dad would get out the backhoe, dig a deep hole, put the animal in it, and then dump a few sacks of lime on it. The reason he did this was to kill the smell of decompostion.

I don't think our fingers could google fast enough. We were onto Mike Stone. Again, I fell out of my chair when he popped up in Phoenix as a registered child molester. He also had prior connections to the military (Hawkins is in the military). I think it was about this time that the VP of the phone company called back and did some further searching on the number for me.(so sweet) He found out that a few numbers had been sold off to TMoblie, and this was one of them. Bingo. We had the SOB that had stolen Caylee..Casey was right...someone did take her and we had him! I called Toothy back, and he nearly pissed his pants. At that point he told me that he had been working with the FBI, Nick Savage, and gave me his cell number and wanted me to call him with this info. I was shaking like a leaf...as were my partners in crime. I think we were on our comps all freakin day that day! I called Nick, gave him the info...and the searching continued...we had gotten Mark Hawkins' gf's name too, and she was from Phoenix originally.

Wasn't the girlfriend in possession of the phone???? I remember thinking that Nick Savage was a perfect name for an FBI agent.....

HAHAHA..."Friendship" might be stretching it a bit... Thanks to Peeper, I knew how to reach him, we all knew he likes to blab, so it seemed like a good idea to use him to get the info out to the right people. I actually stopped by Jay Blanchard to say hello in person when he was there with the divers. He truly wanted to find Caylee's body, but he is also truly a media whore! haha

Part I:

Once upon a time there was a devoted group of crazy people, obsessed with the murder of a darling little girl. When phone records and cell pings were released, a couple of them dove in to track down any possible clues...SURE that they would find the key to the mystery! ha. Having always fancied myself as a real life Nancy Drew, I happily took part. One number got my attention, a Phoenix number...and I couldn't connect it with anyone. Frustrated, I decided to pay for one of those online reverse lookups to satisfy my curiosity. Initially, a message came back saying that they couldn't find any info, but would keep looking. If nothing came of it, they'd refund my money. I figured that was that.

Imagine my surprise (and please, for the full effect, picture me falling out of my chair) as I checked my email the next morning and saw a message that they had matched the number. When I clicked on the link to see who the phone was registered to, it said: CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY !!!! Swear to God. You can ask Komak, Peeper, Test and Harley who saw the email after I freaked out.

We never really found out much about the gf..or X gf...and the phone wasn't working. She had bought it for him, or something...never have heard a thing about her, and not much more came out about him.

I still think that it is really weird that Mark Hawkins who talked to Casey often throughout that time....had a cell phone registered to Caylee Marie Anthony....weird weird weird...

I think at some point I figured that it was the missing phone, and Casey had mailed it to him.....God knows we have NO IDEA who registered it

The actual phone was registered, like the serial number or the phone number....did we ever figure it out?

If credit was bad for all parties involved and they were desperate for a phone (which apparently this group could not live w/o) could they have used Caylee's Social Security Number to get phone, knowing Caylee would not be using it ever. Far fetched - true - but I've seen what people will be get a cell phone.)

Oh and do people still want the information from daily BS in regard to 4 am ping and water treatment plant? If still interested let me know K, it's been hard to get the time to go back & find now LOL

Yea Groovy, I know who you are talking about. It was in the video of the G/C jail visit...but I'm not sure it wasn't an exwife and not just a gf? I wanna say it was like Rita or something...Whatever her name was, it wasn't the same as the one we were after. And as for the ssn#'s...didn't even need one to put it in her name, per Tmobile (or Trashmobile as some referred to it)...ANYONE can get a phone with them.

Peeper I was up on the front page alittle earlier, and I must say that swade has a real attitude problem. She does seem to send quite a bit of it your way. But I have also noticed she is just snippy with anyone who says something she doesn't seem to agree with. When She was calling people idiots....for their opinions I had to take a deep breath and realize I wasn't logged in to post. Then I decided I surely was not going to get baited into her trap. I think her problem is that the cool kids never let her sit or talk with them.......so 20 years (or whatever don't know how old she is).....she's still lashing out about it. Very Very insecure though she likes to come off like she is extremely intelligent.
I also notice everyone is talking about the case, and she is the one that has to keep bringing up the differences she has with you sounds like a cry for attention.

Please don't let her bait you into anything........she is just not worth the typing.

Hello to All--I really think Caylee's body was wrapped in either a Winnie the Pooh blanket or sheet. Scared Monkeys posted a pic of Cinevil sitting by Caylee's bed & all the bedding, decoration, etc. was Winnie themed. They also posted an upclose shot of one of the tall brown paper bags of evidence collected from the house. Sticking out of one of the bags was a pillow with a ruffled edge that looked exactly like the bedding the grandma from hell was sitting near. Maybe that is the whole JC Penney deal with the refusal to hand over the credit statement?? Just throwing out some food for thought. I have no idea how to bring over a post from SM, so sorry about that. The pillow sure did look like that bedding though.

Trish, she is a sad sad troll. I was shocked out of my socks when I found out she is married and has children!! I really thought she was just some stupid kid, but nope. A grown married woman who is a mother!! That scares me just because God forbid one of her children disagree with her, we'll soon see her mug on the FP.

And she is not baiting me again. I just refuse to feed her need. She actually liked me and everything until I sent the pizza and got a little attention for a stunt. Then it turned to pure hatred for no reason.

I say no one should respond to her at all and she'll be gone again, it's been a few months since she's been here. But that could be because Morbid banned her for awhile.

The underside (sticky) part of the unused taped does not necessarily mean it was never unexposed. I've torn a piece of tape from a roll of duct tape before. Put my forefinger of each hand on the sticky part, tore it, and then just pressed the piece still connected to the roll, back onto the roll.

well, there you go - if casey's prints end up being located on the duct tape, this will be the argument jb & the anthony's make in defense.
