Oh, and I told my ole buddy Test that somebody had some questions about Lime for her. As usual, she was a wealth of info..I don't think she'll mind if I share it here:
"Lime, especially what is called Quick Lime or burnt lime, is highly caustic and hastens the breakdown of organic matter of all sorts. It causes the rapid release of oxygen, for one thing, which speeds aerobic activity. Vegetation would show evidence of a massive application of lime. I would assume George, being a lawn freak, would have lime in his little shed. However, he would not have it in a large quantity, I don’t think. Back in the day when we buried farm animals, we commonly dumped 25 pounds of quick lime into the hole to hasten decomposition. There was nothing nefarious about it and we dug proper and deep graves. It was just a good practice. The thing is – would Casey have known this? I am just not sure. And if there was lime at the scene, would it point to someone else being involved?
Hydrated lime, sometimes called slake lime, is used in building – mortar, etc. Since George and Cindy were building that little patio thing, they may have had hydrated lime on the property. If they can get a good soil sample, they might be able to tell if hydrated lime was used in an attempt to hasten decomp and that would further tie the dumping of the body to the Anthony house. However, hydrated lime is highly reactive and could convert back to regular lime in the environment. I am not sure about that as I know the formulas for reconverting hydrated lime to produce heat (that is basically how self-heating cans work – a lot of heat is released briefly during the reconversion) but I am not sure how the reaction would work in the open environment.
Oh – historically, in old times, Quick Lime was used as a weapon. It was thrown in the face of the enemy and caused blindness and pain. Let’s hope that Casey was not an avid reader of medieval history. Or that she didn’t find this in her “household weapons” searches. "

Oh Komak, I've missed you too! haha So funny you ask about that number...NOTHING ever came of it as far as I know. In fact, before the bickering began, I was just about to share to amuse everyone as we wait for more real info! haha
time in Tampa on the fourth....son to Disney sometime this summer....for his birthday....sister got married.....friends with Raquel and Samantha...its all weird.... right down to some of the pictures, and various circles of friends, it is almost like Casey was mimicing her life....or something....their groups of friends at various times are the same.....

I just tried to log onto helpfindcaylee and the site is no longer. I'm sure they pulled it as they now know Caylee is gone. It will beinteresting if it pops up again.

Once upon a time there was a devoted group of crazy people, obsessed with the murder of a darling little girl. When phone records and cell pings were released, a couple of them dove in to track down any possible clues...SURE that they would find the key to the mystery! ha. Having always fancied myself as a real life Nancy Drew, I happily took part. One number got my attention, a Phoenix number...and I couldn't connect it with anyone. Frustrated, I decided to pay for one of those online reverse lookups to satisfy my curiosity. Initially, a message came back saying that they couldn't find any info, but would keep looking. If nothing came of it, they'd refund my money. I figured that was that.
Imagine my surprise (and please, for the full effect, picture me falling out of my chair) as I checked my email the next morning and saw a message that they had matched the number. When I clicked on the link to see who the phone was registered to, it said: CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY !!!! Swear to God. You can ask Komak, Peeper, Test and Harley who saw the email after I freaked out.

The underside (sticky) part of the unused taped does not necessarily mean it was never unexposed. I've torn a piece of tape from a roll of duct tape before. Put my forefinger of each hand on the sticky part, tore it, and then just pressed the piece still connected to the roll, back onto the roll.

I may get the next few details out of order a bit, as I was a little flustered at the time. But the essence was this: We all pitched in to track down the phone company that it was listed to. It was an odd name, and turned out to be a company that sells "blocks" of "airspace" (obviously Test is the techy one) to businesses, NOT individuals. Strange. I decided what the hell, and called them to see if they EVER had individual customers. Nope. Aaaahh. In order to get a phone, you had to go thru a complete credit check, supplying SSN's, etc. Man, we had them! We were going to find Caylee, weren't we guys? I think at this point I tried to call LE, kept getting recordings. So our investigation continued. (Not like we were gonna stop, anyway). I wanted to get someone's attention FAST, and so I figured who better to blab about this than Leonard Padilla (aka Toothpick, or Toothy for short). I called him and he said, that number was how he reached Mark Hawkins. I asked how and he said he had called that number and gotten a voicemail, that said it was Mark Stone, and was later able to reach Mark Hawkins that way. Incidentally, the number was not working at the time of our investigation. He was equally freaked about my find.

I don't think our fingers could google fast enough. We were onto Mike Stone. Again, I fell out of my chair when he popped up in Phoenix as a registered child molester. He also had prior connections to the military (Hawkins is in the military). I think it was about this time that the VP of the phone company called back and did some further searching on the number for me.(so sweet) He found out that a few numbers had been sold off to TMoblie, and this was one of them. Bingo. We had the SOB that had stolen Caylee..Casey was right...someone did take her and we had him! I called Toothy back, and he nearly pissed his pants. At that point he told me that he had been working with the FBI, Nick Savage, and gave me his cell number and wanted me to call him with this info. I was shaking like a leaf...as were my partners in crime. I think we were on our comps all freakin day that day! I called Nick, gave him the info...and the searching continued...we had gotten Mark Hawkins' gf's name too, and she was from Phoenix originally.

think a little bit later I called Toothy back for a 3rd time just to let him know I had called the FBI, never heard from LE, and asked if he heard anything to let me know, please. We had sort of gotten as far as we could, once we found out that anyone can get a phone under any name with TMobile, no I.D. required. We found nothing more about the gf. So I call Toothy, still sure that we are heroes. Our conversation went something like this: "Hey Leonard, its me again about the Mark Stone phone number. Oh yea, about that...I (Toothy) was talking to my office about what you found and my secretary corrected me." "Huh? I said."....He said, "The voicemail didn't say "Mark Stone", it said "This is Mark's phone". It belonged to Mark Hawkins. We later reached him at that same number. The phone was his girlfriend's." SHIT! I had to call the FBI back and tell them.
The best we could figure was that when Mark's gf found out how much he had been in contact w/Casey (probably while dating her), she changed the name on his phone to Caylee's as a prank, before it was disconnected for good. Talk about disappointed! At that stage in the game, it was just one more of the freaky little twists and turns that this case has taken. We never heard another thing about it, but have kept mum all of this time, just in case we might mess something up. Figured its pretty safe to tell it all now, in lieu of what is going on right now.
DD Investigations is now closed for business, (as is the HelpFindCaylee.com site)!ha. We're all still crazy and obesessed though...and have become great friends in the process...so all was not lost! ;)

Oh Madmommy, you are being so gentle here....it was early am, you called us into private chat......We had orignially linked the number to the dude....then it came back as REGISTERED TO CAYLEE....and we about stopped breathing....I swear the world stood still for a moment as we digested the information.....HOW THE HELL does someone register a phone in Caylee's name, after her disappearance.....wasn't it previous registered to Mark....????"

I grew up on a ranch, too. When we would have to put a horse or cow down, my dad would get out the backhoe, dig a deep hole, put the animal in it, and then dump a few sacks of lime on it. The reason he did this was to kill the smell of decompostion.
