"(The woman) did not suffer serious bodily injury but it showed a continued pattern of behavior," said Sgt. Larry Moses, a detective at the Etowah Police Department. "We feel the charges are certainly warranted."
Stanley is being held at the McMinn County Justice Center in lieu of $20,000 bond and is due in court today. Moses said the elderly victim and four other workers at the nursing home reported the abuse.
The victim's name and condition were not released.
