Man found in Childrens Bedroom closet

TOWSON -- A man accused of hiding in a children's bedroom has pleaded guilty to an attempted first-degree sex offense.

Richard Marks, 50, entered the plea Wednesday, according to the Baltimore County state's attorney.

Marks was accused in September 2007 of entering a Dundalk home where two children were sleeping. According to a statement from State's Attorney Scott D. Shellenberger, Marks "used rags soaked with a chemical to render the children unconscious, after which he intended to assault one of them."

I love it when offenders get off for "good behavior". Doesn't it ever occur to prison officials that they're being good to get out so they can offend again? Jesus.

I think we should cut him to shreds with scissors and pour home made choloroform over his wounds!!!!! I am soooooooo glad that I have alarms on ALL my windows!!!!! I may have to break down and get two dogs, one for inside, and one to patrol the perimeter!!!!! And maybe it's time I start literally sleeping with my shotgun.....

Friggin shame daddy didn't have a shotgun and just put an end to this problem...
I love dogs...one more reason to love them here....this boy would've come in handy

How in the hell did this guy get in the house to start with?

This is one of the reasons I will always have a dog sleeping in the house. My ACD has his very own couch to sleep on in the bedroom. He may not stop whoever it is coming in but he will definately slow them down and wake me up in the process.

First of all good for the father but how the hell did he contain himself from beating the fuck out of him. All sex offenders should stay behind bars forever, I don't think they can be rehabilated especially with stinky cheese. Read that from another post.

When we go to bed I make sure all doors are left open until morning. We have a small house and my bedroom is right there with my daughters. Ha, and Whitney doesn't have a closet it wasn't meant for a bedroom but made it one.

Also, Peeper maybe Casey got the ingredients for the chloroform from this man. LOL

My youngest daughter use to be terrified that the bogey man was in her bedroom closet or any closet in the house. My ex and I would take her every night before bed time and check every one in the house for years.

Now she's grown and married and she still can't sleep with her bedroom closet open it has to be shut tight.

But then again, E.T. still scares the hell out of her too! She's always thought he was creepy.

So scary that he really can be in a closet. I don't think i'll tell Holly about this one.
