Tony Glenn Bennett, 56, of 1527 Standing Rock Road in Senoia, has been charged in the incident and has made bond since his arrest, according to Major James Yarbrough of the Coweta County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators with the sheriff's office became aware of the alleged crime(s) when the alleged victim made an outcry to her elementary school counselor. That counselor notified law enforcement and an investigation into the incident began.
At this point in the investigation, Yarbrough says the sheriff's office remains unsure about how many incidents of sexual abuse there may be, but they believe the molestation took place "a little while ago." They are still looking into the possibility of additional victims.
