    Talk about a cat fight!!

A driver whose vehicle rolled on Interstate 70 after she tried to break up a fight between two cats riding on her lap ended up in the hospital, Colorado State Troopers said.

The woman, whose name was not released, suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The crash happened Monday near DeBeque. A car and a semitrailer both swerved off the road so they wouldn't hit the woman's vehicle.

The woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ticketed for careless driving.

This, my friends, is the very reason why I have a driving phobia. I get panic attacks, my palms sweat, my heart jumps...ugh I hate it. I mean I'm a great driver, maybe even too careful, but it's other people's driving that scares the crap ouuta me.

I hear ya! I am a good, careful driver (I haven't even been pulled over ONCE in my 15 years of driving, no accidents, etc), but it is the other people on the road who scare the shit outta me. It is dangerous out there I tell ya

First off.......why the hell didn't she have them in travel cages?
Second - Driving now days is all about defensive driving. As my husband tells me all the time, I am not worried about your driving, I'm worried about everyone else on the road.

[QUOTE=Trish;77203]First off.......why the hell didn't she have them in travel cages?[QUOTE]

    EXACTLY what I was thinking!!
Yesterday my mother and I were driving in town and all of a sudden a car swerved right into our lane! We looked closely and realized the guy driving had a friggen GREAT DANE in the car trying to sit on his lap, while he was driving.
I couldn't believe it!! I always believe you should have them in a travel cage or have a grate between the front and rear seats (like in the cop cars, we had one in our old vehicle)....
Thats why I get panic attacks while driving, cuz you never know what can happen...(no worries though, I don't drive--because I have panic attacks.)
Ever since my 2nd dad (best friend's dad) passed in a car accident, I get vivid dreams of me or my daughter dying in a car accident...I never used to be so afraid, but since the accident...ugh fagetaboutit!!!!!!

sorry for rambling, vehicle/driving safety is a HUGE deal to me....

Don't blame ya Dasias. I have panic attacks too. So bad I've stopped driving all together. We had more than a few close calls in WA. The last day I finally swore off driving it was raining, and a car hit another one right in front of me. My kid was screamin in the back, my hubby ducked, and I barely got our car out of the way. I haven't driven since.

Like Trish I'm from Jeresy originally. I had zero problems driving as a defensive driver out there. On the west coast though. Whole 'nother ball game. It was like driving thru hell whenever I drove.

Even if someone is a safe driver, throw in things like cell phones or animals...and it is a potentially deadly driver.
