    Bless Raymond Thurmond, kinda...

So there I was at work one day last month, with a Lean Cuisine panini sandwich in one hand and my mouse in the other. I was looking for an update on that nutjob that had kept his family imprisoned in the cozy little roach motel down in Georgia.

Google led me to Dreamin' Demon, and an addiction was born. So I guess I have Raymond Thurmond to thank for being here. And Dreamin' Demon to thank for several weeks of nightmares ever since. Ha, only mostly kidding there.

I'm still in the lurking stages. It's a lot to take in, but I'm glad that I'm here.

How right you are, Gilbrit! DD has become a natural appetite suppressant! The more I read, the less I feel like eating! Who needs Lean Cuisine!

I've been sadly enlightened - many of these stories I've read here don't get much exposure in Chicago and I feel like I've been going through life with blinders on or something. I've found that I've been hugging my daughter a lot more, and appreciating my husband more too!

    Thanks for the welcome!
