A 28-year-old Plainfield Township man faces charges that he sexually assaulted and molested a 6-year-old girl, police said.

Robert Holland Jr. of the 800 block of West Pen Argyl Street is accused of abusing the girl on at least two occasions between June 1 and Aug. 1, police said.

Holland allegedly molested the girl and forced her to fondle him, as well as perform other sex acts, police said.

Holland is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors. He was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
