You're right, contraceptives are nothing like abortion. However, for people who believe that life begins at conception, EC (which I am assuming is the morning after pill) is abortion.
Yes there are some of those with this warped view of thinking. In this view point, I guess miscarriages can be considered involuntary manslaughter, if you this same viewpoint of thinking is used.

Also, I don't think EC would be effective when using mail services (3-6 business days) and I think young adults like discretion and in this area, parents are likely to question what did their daughter get in the mail today.

There have been some pharmacists that have been let go but they signed a form regarding policy and I know some are up for investigation for discrimination, but not much has been heard about these cases since I last heard.

Wow, so basically you would rather simply dismiss other people's viewpoint instead of actually trying to understand them.

I was simply trying to explain to you why a pharmacist might refuse to dispense morning after pills. I was hoping to show you that this statement:
If the damn pharmacist can issue out viagra, his ass should have no problem issuing out birth control.
would seem as ridiculous to them as them refusing to dispense morning after pills seems to you.

It's not that I want you to get hurt... I just want to be there when you do!

No, I'm not dismissing their view, but I don't have to agree with it or be p.c. about it.

I understand why pharmacists would try to refuse, issuing out certain pills. One reason EC was not OTC for some time was because those in control believed it would promote people to have sex carelessly, but yet you will see stupid commercials of a group of pathetic men singing praise to a pill that gets them harder than a super model normally would. I find that extremely two sided and funny.
