Two people are dead in Texarkana after a man allegedly killed his mother and stepfather.
Police officers responded to a call on Big Rock Circle Friday in reference to an unknown call for service. Dispatch received a 911 call from an unknown caller stating repeatedly, "I got both of them." Police had responded to the same address earlier in the evening after receiving a 911 call about an alleged theft.
When officers arrived on the scene, they encountered 48-year-old Bronson Scoggins. Officers immediately noticed blood on Scoggins, so he was then placed in restraints for safety purposes.
When officers entered the residence, they found Albert J. Walsh, 78, and Sandra Walsh, 59, dead. Detective Les Moody advised both victims had suffered blunt force trauma and potential knife wounds.
Scoggins was arrested and charged with 2 counts capital murder and is currently in custody
