Hipolito Morales, 33, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.
Police spotted Morales speeding then paced his vehicle at more than 100 mph, before pulling him over and arresting him. Morales told the officer he had been drinking.
Morales' son was in a car seat. The child's mother also was in the car.
Morales was unsteady on his feet, had glassy eyes and his breath smelled of alcohol. He failed a sobriety test.
The child was released into the custody of his mother, police said, adding that they notified Child Protective Services about the arrest.
Why would they give the kid to the mom? She got in the car with a shitfaced tard.
