Christopher Marshall takes his son to Walmart

TAMPA - Under the influence of Oxycontin, Xanax, Soma and Oxycodone, a Riverview man drove to a Gibsonton Wal-Mart with his 5-year-old son Friday, Hillsborough County deputies say.

Christopher Marshall took more Oxycontin and Xanax while in the Wal-Mart's parking lot, and when he was in the store, he passed out and needed medical attention, according to a criminal arrest affidavit.

It was his 27th birthday.

Deputies arrested Marshall at 8:40 p.m. Friday. He was charged with one count of felony child neglect.

His bail was set at $2,000. He has since been released.

dayum, I am surprised he made it to Walmart, muchless to his car. I took a part of a xanax once and I slept the whole day.

okay, i lived in tampa last year and left. i found more prescription drug users, and coke heads living in that city than i ever met in my life, and i live in one of the biggest ports of entry for narcotics!

so i am not shocked that a guy his age used so much. i've seen it.

what makes me wonder is how come he didn't go to the walmart right there in riverview, or valrico, or plant city...but drove all the way down to that shit hole city. weird.
