Lt. Major Garvinwas thirsty, bitches! (and stoopid too)

Dumbass Daytona Beach police officer Lt. Major Garvin, a 15-year veteran, was fired July 8th after failing a polygraph he insisted on taking.

For over a year Lt. Garvin harassed Starbuck's customers and staff indiscriminately, as frequently as six times a night while on duty. The crime rate in Daytona Beach is obviously very low. Garvin insisted on cutting in front of paying customers and demanded free drinks.

Silly Starbuck's employees don't they know that police officers that are out protecting the innocent and placing their life in danger for the public are permitted to steal?

Here's to you Lt. Garvin :tea:

I otherwise wouldn't have posted this except for the fact that Garvin wrote a letter to the chief, saying nothing in his past came close to the accusations made by the Starbucks workers and demanded a polygraph that he PROMPTLY FAILED.

When is the next "world's dumbest criminals?" i have a fine candidate for the show.

Most convenience stores give cops free coffee. They are happy for the police presence. Sounds to me that Garvin turned into a coffee snob.

Yeh--A GREEDY coffee snob! Those things at SB are $$$!

I worked at a jail about 12 years ago and the local taco bell gave us half off. One of the night shifts went and LOADED UP one night- Like a couple of boxfuls of food at half price. They stopped giving any discounts to all the local LE because of that stunt!

    GREEDY.

he must've really been abusive, because a lot of little shops gladly give cops free drinks in exchange for the increased revenues they see resulting from the decreased beer runs or grab-and-goes they encounter without frequent police drop-ins. i'm not sure if anyone reaizes just how frequently these places get stolen from - but daily probably isn't enough. i mean circle k, 7-11, mobile, etc - & not just daily per chain but daily per actual store. a few of my police pals befriended local stores in their assigned areas & intentionaly stop in 4 snacks & to say hi for the sole purpose of advertising the potential for police presence without a 911 call even being made. this is precisely why cops are stereotyped with a doughnut in their hand - not because theyre all fat & lazy but because these intentonal trips act as a crime deterrent. crime in the stores my police pals frequent have all dropped exponentially, so a free coffee here & a free drink there - daily - is extremely cost-effectcive for the stores. this case becoming an issue means the cop (er, lieutenant) must've really gone overboard with it - or as i presume - starbucks didnt need his help bc most starbucks are located in safer areas. i bet he began to feel somewhat entitled after all those years doing it in places that truly needed it . . .
