Rodney Scott McLagan, 48, of South Arm, was caught with 31,000 images and video files involving sexual acts with children, dogs, ponies, snakes, tigers and an octopus.

The office equipment worker, whose job involves deleting computer hard drives, pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court in Hobart today to possessing child exploitation material and bestiality products.

He says the kiddie porn was only there as part of a porno bundle.

He said the images found were downloaded in bulk along with the bestiality material.

"In respect of the child exploitation material while there's a lot of it he only looked at 20 per cent," he said.

Octo porn is getting popular. Sites like Ectoplasmosis post art of Octopus porn "as a joke" though I have my suspicions. I think it goes back to the old Chuthulu BBS where people posted pictures and stories of tenticled monsters having sex with women.
