Teen charged w/raping, beating a 2 y.o.

WOONSOCKET, R.I.—Authorities in Woonsocket say a 17-year-old boy beat, bit and raped a 2-year-old girl he was baby-sitting.

Police say the alleged incident occurred on Sunday and the boy was arrested early Monday morning after the child's mother called 911.

Lieutenant Timothy Paul says the teenager, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, is being held pending a hearing to be held in Family Court no later than Friday.

The child was left in the care of the suspect by her 24-year-old mother, who is also the teen's girlfriend.

The child was taken to a hospital where doctors found bruises and bite marks on her body as well as evidence of a sexual assault.

The teen is charged with first-degree sexual assault by means of forcible rape and first-degree child abuse.

I hope they charge him as an adult too, it just might get the girlfriend out of the future charge of sexual abuse of a minor....

At least she called 911 instead of ignoring it like most mothers on here. Though what the hell does she want with a little boy, doesn't she have to change enough diapers?

Gawd, that makes me sick. The mother likes em young, eh? But he likes them younger evidently... Gross. They both should rot in hell. I hope they find a better home for this poor little girl. Her mother doesn't deserve her. She's nothin but a big pedo herself.

16 is the age of consent in Rhode Island.

She may be hard up, but she's technically not a pedo.

I think 17 is plenty old to be charged as an adult. Especially if he is old enough to consent to sex in that state. The fact that he is being charged as a juvenile actually makes me sick.

Have you guys seen some of the 17-year-old boys out there? Some look like 25-year-old men! Girls usually look a little older, what with make-up and all, but some og these guys are over 6 feet tall with tons of facial har to boot. While she can legally date him, it is still a little odd. Any pics of the guy? I am curious to see if he looks older than his age, or if he is indeed a stereotypical 90 pounds soaking wet with acne, wearing a Star Trek T-shirt while playing Dungeons and Dragons. I am betting the former and mama was drawn to his...manliness. It is indeed unfortunate that he likes 'em younger than she does and she had the perfect victim for him.

I hope he likes men, too. They are sure gonna like him!
