AUSTIN (KXAN) - A fight involving 17 women at an Austin strip club led to someone being struck in the eye with a high heel shoe and an aggravated assault charge being filed against the woman who police say had flung the footwear.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit released Monday, the fight was reported around 11:30 Friday night at Hot Bodies, 4134
Felter Lane (Heh.) in Southeast Austin. When police arrived, the violence had subsided, but officers were led to the dressing room where it had taken place.
In there was a man holding both hands over his left eye, the affidavit said. Officers learned that a high heel had seriously injured the eye and that the man may have permanent vision loss. He was taken to the hospital.
The club owner showed officers security video that showed how the fight unfolded and captured images of the shoe being thrown.
The officers interviewed Victoria Perez, 21. She told them that she "may have" thrown the shoe.
"In the manner of its use, the high heel shoe could have been a deadly weapon," the affidavit said.
