Roosevelt Robinson Pissed Someone Off

Police are searching for the person who shot and killed a man late Tuesday night in Wilkinsburg.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the 1100-block of Franklin Avenue.

Police found 35-year-old Roosevelt Robinson with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives learned that the victim had been playing dominos with friends on a second floor covered portico. During a break in play, authorities say the victim decided to urinate over the side railing.

A voice was heard below, yelling “Yo! Yo!” Then, several shots rang out and Robinson collapsed.

Investigators say the shooter would have been positioned between 1107 and 1111 Franklin Avenue. According to neighbors, this path between the houses is routinely used as a cut through to the street to the rear.
