Louis County, MO (KSDK) - A woman suspected in a shake and bake mobile meth lab at a South County Walmart has been arrested again, the St. Louis County Police Department said.

Police said a woman was taken into custody Monday night at the U-Gas, located on Telegraph in South County. She has been identified as 32-year-old Jennifer Vaughn.

Employees told police Vaughn was acting suspicious. Police said Vaughn had a bottle of a meth-making product at the gas station. She was arrested at the scene.

Vaughn was previously accused of trying to cook meth while she was detained by a loss prevention worker at a Walmart in a suspected shoplifting case. She was placed in a holding area until officers arrived.

While she was detained, she had a 20-ounce soda bottle in her purse that was cooking meth while she was in the holding room, according to police.

"It could actually ignite the fuel inside the bottle and could basically turn into a little fire bomb," said St. Louis County spokesman Rick Eckhard.

Vaughn is facing six charges related to meth possession and possession of meth making materials for the Walmart incident.

Before anyone asks why she was not in jail for last weeks arrest
They have to test the meth before they could arrest her and have charges
So they must not have a roadside kit like on cops and other shows
She has as of this morning though been charged with 6 drug charges

Stop me if you've heard this one before: A shoplifter, a meth cook and a dumb-ass all walk into a Walmart -- and they're all the same woman.

A woman not yet identified by police was caught shoplifting in the Walmart at Telegraph Road and Interstate 255 last night around 6 p.m. Police were called, and a one-pot meth lab was found simmering in a 20-ounce soda bottle in her purse. Because hey, why not multitask while you're doing your shoplifting, right?

The store was cleared, police searched the woman's car and confiscated other meth-making necessities such as pills and chemicals, and she and her male companion were both arrested. [...]

I hesitate to use the word hoosier because it upsets my mother-in-law (an Indiana native), but how big of a hoosier do you have to be to set the timer on a drug-bomb, throw it in your purse and then go out to a crowded store and do a little shoplifting? If that thing had exploded, which is more likely than less likely with the one-pot method, the best you could hope for is that she took the brunt of the blast and was the one with most of her skin burned off. But with assholes of this magnitude, it seems that they always escape serious injury and some bystander gets the shaft.

Another drug that loses its appeal after looking at what it does to people. 32!?! She looks much older than that... and the carrying around in the purse? I think deep down inside she wanted to be caught. Why else would you go shoplifting with a drug lab in your purse... oh yeah, because of the drugs...
