Autopsy Reveals Murdered Runner Sarah Hart Was Pregnant, Chris Allman Arrested

JAMESTOWN, KY (WAVE) – A Russell County woman who police said was strangled while out for a run was pregnant.
Kentucky State Police said a preliminary autopsyrevealed Sarah Hart, 31, was 10 to 11 weeks pregnant at the time she was killed.

Hart's body was discovered at 12:14 p.m. EST in a ravine off US 0127.
Hart had been running with her sister around 6:30 a.m. EST Thursday and had told her she was not feeling well. Hart turned around and stop running. Her sister continued her run and returned later to see how Hart was doing. When her sister was unable to find her, a search began.

Christopher W. Allman, 28, of Jamestown, KY, has been charged with murder in Hart's death.

Allman is also charged with robbery, kidnapping and tampering with physical evidence. Russell Springs Police said Allman admitted killing Hart in order to steal money from her.

More charges are likely to follow pending the final autopsy results.

JAMESTOWN, Ky. - A south-central Kentucky man has been charged with murder in the death of a 31-year-old woman who went missing after going for a run with her sister.
Kentucky State Police said 28-year-old Christopher W. Allman of Jamestown was arrested Thursday in the death of Sarah B. Hart of Jamestown. He was also charged with robbery, kidnapping and tampering with physical evidence and lodged in the Russell County Jail.

State police said Hart was reported missing Thursday morning after dropping out of a run along U.S. 127 with her sister, saying she wasn't feeling well. Police said the sister continued running then returned to check on her sister but couldn't find her.

Im not a runner but how much money do runners carry on them? 5$ to grab a starbucks coffee? I cant imagine them carrying much money if any at all. Maybe some of the runners can answer that.
This mn is a peice of low life shit, stalked, robbed and although they arent saying he probobly raped this poor woman and murdered a baby before he/she even had a chance at life. No punishment is too harsh for his scrungy filthy ass.

Im a runner and the most I have on me is enough to grab a bottle of water at the bridge
where I turn around to come back so $2.00 is what I have on me

I turn at the bridge here so I buy a bottle there finish it and come back I have it measured out that way
I cant stand the belts and the arm band thingys
I like my IPOD for music and thats it
I run the river b.c its in the open the complete course I do
the trails here there have been rapes because wooded areas so I stick to the wide open area

I dont carry my phone but I have an alarm and I have Sable (dog)
But like I said I run the river which is totally open and its the length of downtown here so wide open and packed with people no way anything can happen
We have a Gnatchio Trail but its 20 mile route is alot of wooded and obscure areas where there have been rapes couple years ago
In the summer when super hot and humid I run indoors at university and sometimes at the FORD test track

Good GOD MAN! Or do you only run part of it? I did the Camp Pendleton Mud Run this weekend. It was a 10K through muddy ass hills, over walls, through tunnels, crawling through a mud pit, with Marines yelling at you - but it wasn't no 20 damn miles.

I run 10 miles a day I have for years but busted my foot easter and have just now been running on treadmill at home and walking long walks with dogs
my PT says I cant start running in another month because the one bone on the side I dont know the name but dr calls it the GRAND TOE bone
Its not the toe but the ball on the side?
Its not healing like it should and every few days I can feel it while the 2 other bones are pretty much healed now
I started running in grade 5 for the teams at school and just have kept up with it
even with gbaby I have a jogging stroller and he loves to come for the run when I go and I take my 1 dog
The others to old to do it anymore
If I run from my house to bridge turn and come back its exactly 10 miles

It is awesome that you stayed in such good shape! I wish I had. I went through the lazy writing years where I sat all day at work and sat all night at home. It took its toll and I gained a ton of weight. I've lost 50 lbs and have another 20 or 30 to go.

I hope your foot heals perfectly. Running on the treadmill just isn't the same as running outside. =)

I would just like to say, I don't run. If you see me running YOUR ASS HAD BETTER FOLLOW AND FAST. Shit is GOING DOWN, HARDCORE. I have exercise-induced asthma. I used to walk all the time with my daughter when she was younger. We'd walk by the river, and when weather was bad we'd walk the mall. I'd worked in the mall, so we'd make the rounds and say hi.
I miss being active! :(

I with you, I don't run unless my ass is being chased, or I'm playing baseball with the boys, asthma as well and a promise to my dr that I wouldn't exercise because my weight is too low, he's afraid I'll end up losing more weight.

My sister is a triathlete, she can run, swim and cycle like a pro. I've never been a cardio gal, but can walk like no one's business and and an awesome sprinter. My greatest strength and love is pushing the weights. I'm getting back to that slowly good thing my muscles remember what they used to be. I remember power lifting fondly but would never do that again. Body sculpting is my goal now.

What happened will always weigh heavy on the sister, the guilt a constant companion. My heart goes out to her and the family and Sarah who lost everything to a fucking loser.

Rest in peace Sarah Hart.

A south-central Kentucky grand jury has added rape to the charges facing a man accused of killing a pregnant runner in June.

Kentucky State Police said Wednesday that a Russell County grand jury indicted 28-year-old Christopher W. Allman. He was charged earlier with murder, fetal homicide, kidnapping, robbery and tampering with physical evidence in the June 14 death of 31-year-old Sarah B. Hart.
