BOISE -- A Boise mother is behind bars accused of leaving drugs and rat poison near her four young children.
Jade Clark, 25, and her friend, Cassie Stewart, were both arrested and charged with injury to a child and drug possession.
Boise Police say they responded to Clark’s home in the 4000 block of Glendale in Boise to find Clark and Stewart under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
They say they also found marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms and rat poison all over the home.
Police say the drugs were accessible to the children.
Those children - ages 18 months to four years - were taken from the home and placed in protective custody following the arrests.
