DALTON, Ga. -- The husband of a woman whose body was found Thursday morning in a Dawnville home is now wanted on two counts of murder.

Adolph Ray "Sonny" Neal, 49, of Dalton, is wanted in connection with the death of his wife and another relative, said Capt. Rick Swiney of the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office.

Police did not release the names of the victims, but family members at the scene said they were Jessica Miller Neal, 27, and Donald Shedd, who they said was about 70.

Wayne Warnack, who lives near the home where the bodies were found, said a 9-year-old girl came to his front door crying for help about 7 a.m. Thursday.

"She said, 'Somebody's killed my papaw,'" Warnack said.

He walked with the little girl back to her home as he dialed police, he said.

The 9-year-old is Neal's daughter and Shedd's granddaughter, family members said. The three shared the home with Sonny Neal, they said, and another elderly man they know only as "Bob" lives there, too.

This poor girl finding her great grandpa dead then finding out daddy dearest killed him and mom .

Joint funeral services will be Tuesday for 27-year-old Jessica Brittany Neal and her grandfather, 69-year-old Don Shedd, who were found dead in the Dawnville Community in Whitfield County on Thursday.

Authorities are looking for Ms. Neal's husband, Adolph Ray "Sonny" Neal, in connection with the slaying.

Who the heck names their kid Adolph . I know Ray goes with everything in the south , but Adolph ?

The Whitfield County Sheriff's Office confirms to Channel 3 that double homicide suspect Sonny Neal has been arrested after a week on the run.

Neal was found in the woods in the same area of Varnell where officers conducted a massive manhunt Wednesday.

GBI Agent Dan Sims tells Channel Neal peacefully surrendered in farm field off Tunnel Hill-Varnell Rd after being called out of woods. He was arrested near the site where he was spotted Wednesday, sparking a manhunt.

Neal surrendered without incident and asked for a doctor. He is being taken to a local hospital to be checked out and then will be booked in the Whitfield County Jail.

Neal's daughter Miranda was at the scene, as he left in custody she shouted to him "we love you, we'll stand by you."

Maybe I'm just not a loyal person . You kill two people for no reason I really doubt I'm going to love you and stand by you .
