Mental Health Worker Jennifer Warren Stabbed To Death By Client Brent Redd

    Brent Redd
ST. HELENS, Ore. -- A mental health worker was found dead in a St. Helens home after the suspect in her murder called 911, police said.

Jennifer Warren, who worked at Columbia Community Mental Health, was apparently stabbed to death in a home at SE 15th Street and Cowlitz Street, according to St Helens Police Chief Steve Salle.

The suspect in the case, identified as Brent Redd, had called police to report a disturbance, Salle said. Redd was a client and Warren was at his home to provide mental health services when she was killed.

"Any time a service provider is in someone’s residence--like the police do on a regular basis--there’s always a possibility something bad will happen," Salle said.

Redd was at the home when police arrived. He was taken to Legacy Emanuel Hospital, in Portland, for injuries that were not reported to be life-threatening.

"I think it’s always tragic when a human life is taken," neighbor Patrick Birkle told KGW. "I think it’s especially tragic when it’s someone whose goal is to help."

That moment when... you look at a person and can tell that they are completely fucked in the head before they even open their mouth to say a damn word lol. Wow. Two fingers pointed directly at *drumroll please* that guy! What the fuck was he needing in home psych care for I wonder? And if he was a documented violent crazy person why was she the only one in the home? Was he incapable of coming to a secure facility for his mental health needs? Betcha theres gonna be a major overhaul of rules and procedures to prevent something like this from happening again...

My mental health case worker is called Jennifer, she's coming for a home visit in an hour and a half.

I hope she makes it to our appointment.

Don't worry, folks, he probably only had a 1% chance of murdering anyone, so this remains simply a statistical anomaly and not a cause for alarm.
The internet is a huge collection of data, which people have taken the time to enter into computers.

is that common in the states for mental health workers to make house calls?

Not at all common Whisper. He had to have been a special case somehow. Like maybe he was on house arrest, couldn't drive etc.
