Sharees Dennard Charged With Murder For Running Boyfriend Over

    Sharees Dennard
    FAIRBURN, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A Fulton County woman is in police custody after allegedly running over her boyfriend with her car.

Sharees Dennard, 30, is charged with murder, according to Fairburn police.

Police responded to Highway 92 and Koweta road at 2:15 a.m. Sunday on what was first reported as hit-and-run case involving a pedestrian. But after investigating, police discovered that the victim and his girlfriend were arguing at a nearby residence before the incident.

As the woman was leaving, the victim jumped onto her car, police said. He eventually either jumped or was thrown from the vehicle. Police said the woman then intentionally ran over the man and fled the scene. At least two other cars may have also struck the body.

Tony McDaniel lives near the scene. He said he came running toward the highway when he heard the initial impact.

"By the time I got here with my dog, I heard it again, another thump," he said.

McDaniel said he tried to warn unsuspecting drivers that there was a body in the road.

"I waved my hat and shirt, telling everybody to get over on the side of the road," McDaniel said. "They all listened for a few seconds. But then a car came flying and hit him again."

Good grief!!! I hope she goes to prison where she's introduced the true meaning of pain...WTF?

She had the car, if he was abusive (this is the only reason that makes any sort of sense in my mind why someone would do that, and it's a far stretch to that).... Why in the hell didn't she just flee and leave him there, instead of running over him?

    Grrr

I'd guess she was attempting to flee when he jumped on her car . I'm not sure how the police know it was done intentionally , unless she confessed . Seems like it would be easy to not stop in time if someone suddenly departed from atop your vehicle .
