A 20-year-old woman is accused of having sex with a 7-year-old boy last month.

Alicia Gaston of North Fairmount engaged in sexual intercourse with the child on April 10, Cincinnati police wrote in online court records.

Gaston is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail on a rape charge.

Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Lisa Allen set Gaston’s bond at $75,000 this morning and ordered her to stay away from the boy while the case works through the court system.

Gaston is the child’s father’s girlfriend, according to attorney Greg Cohen, who stood in for Gaston’s lawyer today.

I thought that bit from the article was pure gold. I've heard friends say their babies got stiffies sometimes when they were being cleaned during a diaper change, so I'm imagining that a 7 year old could pop wood as well. But no, Mr. Cohen, they can't engage in sex--consent-wise.

The fact that the story actually phrased it like this turns my stomach. She didn't "have sex" with the child she raped him. Just because he is a male victim doesn't make him any less a victim.

See, I know that it’s wrong that the first reaction I have is to inflict pain, maim, or kill. But really, how do you refrain from committing your own crime while discovering this one? I am a smart woman, but by God if I were to walk into this scenario and find my own 7 year old…..well, there would be a dead person mentioned in the rest of the story…nekkid dead person.

I'm the mother of two boys and yes they do have erections as babies/toddlers. Baby boys also have erections in the womb as well. When my oldest son was born they told me it was normal for him to have an erection and I shouldn't be alarmed if I notice he has one. It was explained that the penis needs an occassional increase in blood flow to stay healthy. I'm thinking this is the real reason behind "morning wood" in men as well.

So I'm almost certain that if stimulated a 7 year old could very well become erect and engage in sex. I don't think he would be able to have a "mental" erection since at that age I doubt there is a trigger (like say a nice booty or breast) but if she was touching it then it probably did react. I don't know for sure since I'm not a doctor but my guess is that yes it is possible and that this is just a poor attempt to clear her of rape.

This has nothing to do with nothing or maybe it does... anyway my kid made his penis hard purposefully yesterday. I swear he just looked down and was like I command you penis, ARISE! He was laughing so hard.
