Authorities Investigate Death Of 5yo Conner Reece Abused As Infant

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office has asked the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to assist its office in looking into the death of a 5-year-old.

Medics arrived at a home in Miami, Okla., on Wednesday to find Conner Jackson Kreider-Reece dead.

The OSBI says, as a 2-month-old, Conner suffered a severe brain injury at the hands of his father, 27-year-old Henry Moland.

At that time, Bartlesville Police said Moland struck Conner's head on a coffee table and shook him several times.

Moland was sentenced to 30 years in prison for child abuse by injury after he pleaded guilty before a Washington County judge.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the OSBI regarding a child death that occurred Wednesday, May 16, night at 52201 E. 130th Road in Miami. Fire, EMS, and the Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the home of a caregiver via a 911 phone call where 5 year old Conner Jackson Kreider-Reece was found dead at the scene.
According to Jessica Brown , OSBI spokesperson, OSBI agents were called in to the case early Thursday morning. Agents have interviewed multiple people and investigated the scene of the death. Presently, agents are awaiting the medical examiner’s autopsy for the cause of death.
At three months of age, Conner suffered a severe brain injury at the hands of his father, Henry Moland. Moland is serving a 30 year prison sentence for the crime.

CJ was my baby, I brought him home from he hospital after his abuse. I love him so much and will be missed so terribly. I loved my little boy as did those who cared for him. He was surrounded by me, his grandmother his siblings and friends the entire day. What hurts the most is he had such a wonderful day free of siezures. He was relaxed and happy all day outside enjoying the sunshine I didn't give birth to him but, he was MY baby and he was surrounded by a community of people who loved him. He is so very missed and we knew he wouldn't live forever but, how are you ever ready to say goodbye to your child. Children with SBS?blunt force head trauma who survive are left with broken bodies and minds. Thier life expectancy is not known. CJ exceeded his and we gave him as much of a normal and quality filled life as he could have. PLEASE NEVER SHAKE A BABY!

I dont remember every wanting to shake mine,
but I was lucky to have a hubby that was raised around millions of kids
I wasnt and was only 17 but he knew what to do and was a great hands on dad all the way through incuding night feedings and he did most of the baths so I was lucky that way
I could hand the baby off to him when it was to much

Thank you Whisper... I was a young Mom(17) with my son, as was his Dad(19), but we made it work for our baby... our little "sunshine" as we called him and still do. Our young relationship didn't last but we are still great friends all these years later for our son. We leaned on each other through our sons health problems and worked together. Our son now is a strapping 6'3" and 280lb football player that knows Mommy and daddy love him...

These bastard that hit, shake, beat or otherwise harm their children should be shot in short order, they are selfish assholes with little else to think about except their dicks or twats... enter child beater rant here...
