TMZ quotes sources who say Stahl was recently spotted in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles and "there are concerns he may have gotten himself involved in some bad stuff."

In addition to his role in "Terminator 3," Stahl has been featured in films and TV series such as "Sin City," "Carnivale," "Bully" and "In the Bedroom." Stahl started acting as a child, earning a co-starring role with Mel Gibson in the 1993 film "The Man Without a Face."

Most recently, Stahl guest-starred on a January episode of Showtime's Don Cheadle comedy "House of Lies," as well as a pair of April episodes of the ABC drama "Body of Proof."

He starred in Terminator 3, part of one of the most iconic movie franchises ever. But now, there are fears he could actually be living on Skid Row, after his wife reported him missing.

Nick Stahl played the young man protected by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Claire Danes played his love interest.

Stahl's estranged wife, Roseann, who is fighting him for custody of their 2-year-old daughter, has now filed a missing person's report. She hasn't seen him since May 9. In court papers, Stahl's wife says his income last year was $500,000. She lists his address as: unknown.

She asked for him to take a drug test, and there are reports that 39-year-old Stahl had been spending his days on seedy Skid Row.

INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret went to the seedy Los Angeles neighborhood to see if anyone recognized him.

One woman told Moret, "I've seen him. He's a movie star."

A man on the street told Moret, "Yeah, I seen him a couple of days ago...right in here. He looked like he was discombobulated."

In Terminator 3, Stahl delivers a now ironic line: "I live off the grid. No phone, no address. No one and nothing can find me."

Hope he is OK does this not sound kinda similar to that other guy he was in the movie bully with Brad Renfro did he not end up in skid row and died of an overdose or something like that ?

The makers of T3 should hate themselves for ruining such an iconic movie franchise. I'm sorry but Nick Stahl in no way shape or form embodies John Connor at all. It was just...yeah. I do however hope that he is not dead or injured or in anyway harmed and has merely checked out as was mentioned up above.
He was very likably bad in Sin City I will give him that. Scared the bejesus out of me!

Maybe he had some sort of mental break or episode. I knew a girl years ago that, for most of the time, lived with her family in an upper middleclass neighborhood. She had been diagnosed as schizophrenic (I know, it's probably spelled wrong) early in her life, and every so often, she just disappeared. No one knew where she went until the cops finally rounded her up and brought her home. She'd been living with some homeless people near a metro-rail station. It always happened when she decided she was "cured" and didn't need her meds anymore.

Then again, maybe this guy just wanted to be closer to his supplier, and he really did fall all the way into the drug abyss.

The most natural thing for a alcoholic/addict is to go off the grid on a bender. Just because this guy is an actor is the only reason he gets air play. This happens to people I know all the time.

Los Angeles police are on the lookout for Nick Stahl, the actor who played John Connor in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," after he was reported missing by his wife.

Stahl had been frequenting skid row, and LAPD officials said officers who work the downtown beat have been given copies of his photo and told keep an eye out for him.

Stahl's wife, Rose Murphy, reported him missing shortly after 10 a.m. Monday to Hollywood Division officers, spokesman Richard French said. Foul play is not suspected at this time, he said.

She said the last time she saw him was May 9.

Murphy filed court papers in February, saying that the couple had been separated since January. She asked that Stahl's visitations with their daughter, Marlo, 2, be limited. She also asked for proof he hadn't used drugs within 24 hours before seeing her, KTLA-TV reported.

Agreed. Addicts go on binges all the time - many have kids of their own. You only read about them when they break the law, not out of concern. Very sad.

Missing "Terminator 3" actor Nick Stahl has told his wife he has checked in to rehab, TMZ has learned.

The 32-year-old actor was reported missing earlier this week by his wife Rose -- but e-mailed friends yesterday to say he was okay and would be unreachable for the next 30 days so he could get help.

Stahl's wife, Rose, tells TMZ she spoke to the actor last night -- very briefly -- and he told her he checked into rehab. Rose says she double-checked with the rehab this morning to make sure he was still there -- and he was.
