Capt. Christopher Corbett said police have obtained arrest warrants for two New Haven men, Shaquan Armour, 20, and 21-year-old Zachery Franklin, in connection with the killing of Luis "Coqui" Cruz, who died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Armour is already facing a separate murder charge in connection with a New Haven homicide and Franklin is now on the run

http://www.wtnh.com/dpp/news/crime/c...-2011-homicideNew Haven, Conn. (WTNH) - A man already facing two murder charges, has been charged with the May 2011 homicide of Ryan Barnaby in New Haven.
The incident happened on May 23rd, in Edgewood Park.
New Haven Police said a local resident saw a man park his vehicle on the street and enter the park. Within ten minutes, the resident said they heard a loud gunshot.
When police arrived they found the victim's unoccupied vehicle on Ella T. Grasso Blvd., near Chapel St.
Shortly after, police located the body of Waterbury resident Ryan Barnaby, in a wooded area of the park, a few hundred few from his parked car.
After an autopsy it was determined that Barnaby died of a single gunshot wound to the head. After investigating, police determined that Barnaby was murdered in the course of a robbery.
On Monday, police secured an arrest warrant for 21-year-old Zackery Cody Franklin, for the murder of Barnaby.
Franklin is currently incarcerated at Whalley Avenue Correctional Facility for the murder of John Claude-James on July 9, 2011 in New Haven, and another murder committed in Waterbury on July 8, 2011.
Franklin is facing charges of felony murder, murder, carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, first-degree robbery, and second-degree larceny.

Zackery Cody Franklin has been charged with the December 15, 2007 murder of Jeremiah Johnson, 32. Johnson' body was found near East Rock Park.

Franklin is currently incarcerated on three separate murder charges; the May 2011 murder of Ryan Barnaby , the July 8, 2011 murder of Luis "Coqui" Cruz, and the July 9, 2011 murder of John Claude-James .
Police also charged 27-year-old John Torry Denby for his role in the murder. Deby was also already incarcerated on drug related charges.
According to police, their pair were trying to rob Johnson. Both Barnaby and Claude-James were killed during armed robberies.
Franklin and Denby were charged with felony murder and given a $2 million bond.
