Jennifer Mahoney Admits Making, Streaming Child Porn Of 5-Year-Old She Babysat

TRENTON, N.J. -- A New Jersey woman admitted Wednesday to sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl she was allegedly babysitting and putting a video of the assault on the Internet.

Jennifer Mahoney, 33, of Manalapan pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to sexual exploitation of a child.

She faces between 15 and 30 years in prison when she is sentenced Aug. 22, and will have to pay restitution to the victim. She had been charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

As part of the plea, Mahoney agreed 30 years is the appropriate sentence, although the judge will have the final say. She would be under supervised release for anywhere between five years and life after her sentence is completed. She also agreed not to appeal.

Mahoney admitted to sexually assaulting the girl and streaming the assault live over a video chat service on the Internet. She also admitted to abusing the girl on another occasion, recording the abuse on a camera phone and emailing the video to at least one other person. Finally, Mahoney admitted to viewing other videos of child sexual abuse streamed to her using a video chat service.

"This horrible crime is a stark example of how harmful child pornography is, and how its young victims bear not just the physical and emotional scars of violent sexual assault, but lifelong trauma as others repeatedly watch," U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said in a statement. "Those like Mahoney, who create and feed the market, perpetuate unimaginable suffering for the children they abuse."

MANALAPAN, NJ –*This past January, we reported on 32-year-old Jennifer Mahoney, the woman accused of *streaming the*sexual abuse of a 5-year-old girl*live on Skype.
She has now pleaded guilty to the charges and will face anywhere between 15 to 30 years in prison when she is sentenced in August.
For those of you who do did not catch this original story, Mahoney was charged with two federal counts of the sexual exploitation of a child after police retrieved three videos of Mahoney molesting a 5-year-old girl she was babysitting from the computer of Robert Ramos Jr. , who lives in*Texas.
Two of the videos were Skype sessions that show Mahoney talking to someone online while wearing a lace top with her breasts exposed. She is kneeling at the foot of a bed*performing oral sex on the sleeping child who is lying on her stomach with her buttocks exposed. At some points in the videos, Mahoney can be seen masturbating or laughing.
The other video was recorded with an iPhone and shows Mahoney giving the girl a bath and asking her to bend over so she can rinse her off. “Like a mermaid?” the child asks Mahoney. “Like a mermaid, sweetheart,” Mahoney replies before putting her fingers in the girl’s vagina.…

ok ok... it does look like that when I re-read it.... what I meant to get across is, that looking at her, she looks like a regular person albeit slightly hillbillish.. The Mom of this little girl probably had no reason not to trust her, especially if they are related. I don't know about anyone else, but I trust my gut, and there have been times I have met people and had to get away from them fast because they set my hair on end, and there are times I have immediately liked someone (not that I would leave my kids with them) and became fast friends. Obviously after reading what she has done and the fact that she admitted to it, looking at her makes my skin crawl, but if I didn't know I wouldn't suspect she would be a crazy baby raper (maybe it is because she is woman) Either way, I hope this bitch gets a long prison term. What she did is disgusting and like I have said before after reading this site it makes me hold my little girl closer (my boys are grown ups now). I am careful about everything I allow her to do, there are way to many freaks out there and you never know they could be your neighbor.... so to say I am a nosey Mom is an understatement.

A babysitter who sexually abused a 5-year-old girl while streaming it on the internet for others to see has been sentenced to 30 years in a federal prison.

Jennifer Mahoney, 33, of Manalapan, New Jersey who pleaded guilty in May to the sexual exploitation of a child will be under lifetime supervision once she's freed from prison.

Mahoney admitted to sending the video to Ramos whom she believed lived in Arizona, and one other individual.

In November Ramos, a former assistant band director at Dessau Middle School in Pflugerville, pleaded guilty to producing and distributing child pornography.

Ramos admitted to obtaining sexually explicit images of a 13-year-old girl by masquerading on Facebook as a teenage girl.

He then shared them with 25-year-old upstate New York teacher Timothy Bek who's now serving a 30-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to child porn charges.

'She cannot believe what’s happening to her. She’s upset with herself,' Mahoney's defense lawyer, Herbert Ellis, said of his client to NJ.com in May.

'She's numb,' he said of the woman whose teeth were described as chattering and who wiped tears from her face.
