MACON, Ga. --
The infamous Dougherty siblings have been indicted by a Georgia grand jury in connection with an armed bank robbery in that state.
Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26, Lee Grace Dougherty, 29, and Ryan E. Dougherty, 22, are accused of leading law enforcement officers in a multi-state crime spree that started with a police chase and shoot-out in Zephyrhills.
The federal indictment charges all three in the armed robbery of a bank in Valdosta, Ga. in August. Investigators said they got away with over $5,000.
Police arrested the siblings eight days later in Colorado. Officials said they fired shots at law enforcement officers and crashed their vehicle.
All three have been charged with bank robbery and discharging a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence. Ryan Dougherty has also been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The three are also facing charges in Colorado, where they are currently in custody. They could potentially face charges in Pasco County as well.
