Chapa is accused of molesting a girl between August 2002 and June 2007, according to a court document. The girl was believed to have been 3 or 4 years old at the time.
While living in Goodyear, Chapa was accused of abusing the same girl, then 8 or 9 years old, in 2007-08, according to the document.
The same girl was subjected to more abuse from Chapa while he lived in Avondale between 2008-12, the document shows.
The girl passed a note in school to a friend May 3 telling her of the abuse, which led to a police investigation, according to the document.
Chapa was booked into jail Friday morning on the following felony charges:
1 count sexual exploitation of minor
1 count indecent exposure
3 counts sexual conduct with minor
1 count sexual conduct with minor
3 counts sexual conduct with minor
3 counts molestation of child
3 counts molestation of child
1 count molestation of child
