Chapa is accused of molesting a girl between August 2002 and June 2007, according to a court document. The girl was believed to have been 3 or 4 years old at the time.
While living in Goodyear, Chapa was accused of abusing the same girl, then 8 or 9 years old, in 2007-08, according to the document.
The same girl was subjected to more abuse from Chapa while he lived in Avondale between 2008-12, the document shows.
The girl passed a note in school to a friend May 3 telling her of the abuse, which led to a police investigation, according to the document.
Chapa was booked into jail Friday morning on the following felony charges:
•1 count sexual exploitation of minor
•1 count indecent exposure
•3 counts sexual conduct with minor
•1 count sexual conduct with minor
•3 counts sexual conduct with minor
•3 counts molestation of child
•3 counts molestation of child
•1 count molestation of child
