Christie Marshallhttp://galvestondailynews.com/story/312814TEXAS CITY — An argument about a credit card escalated into a car chase Saturday.
About 4:25 p.m., Christie Loraine Marshall, 32, was at a home in the 5000 block of Lighthouse Lane in Texas City when a dispute arose about a credit card, Dickinson police Sgt. Michael Anzualda said.
Marshall said a man at the house had the card and he denied having possession of it, Anzualda said.
The man then left the house with a 4-year-old in his car and drove north on state Highway 3. Marshall loaded a 3-month-old baby in her vehicle, followed the man and tried to run him off the road several times, Anzualda said.
When the man stopped at the intersection of state Highway 3 and Hughes Road, Marshall rammed him from behind, Anzualda said.
Both children were in safety seats at the time of the accident and no injuries were reported, Anzualda said.
Marshall was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a felony.

Christie Loraine Marshall: Tries to Run Man Off Road While Both Have Kids in Their Cars
http://blogs.houstonpress.com/hairba...shall_trie.phpIf you're so pissed about a dude that you follow him in a car, try to run him off the road and ram him when he stops, remember one thing: Take your kid along for the ride.
That's what Christie Loraine Marshall, 32, did, according to cops [...]
They say Marshall got into a fight at a Texas City house with a man over whether he had her credit card.
The classic description:
The man then left the house with a 4-year-old in his car and drove north on state Highway 3. Marshall loaded a 3-month-old baby in her vehicle, followed the man and tried to run him off the road several times.
When he stopped at a light, cops said, she rammed him from behind.
On the plus side, both kids were strapped in child seats. On the minus side, you're driving like an idiot with a kid in the car.
Jail records show Marshall has been booked on a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is still in jail with a bond of $40,000.
