Most fathers are proud to have a son, but not Eddie Lee Daniels, he had a "temper" and the baby could not survive Eddies outbursts... wonder how long it took, one hour or 2 hours? Soon as his sister left? I am out of names to call this asshole, I feel only sadness and the depraved desolation of an innocent babies life.

A 24-year-old Orlando man has been charged with first-degree murder of his two-month-old son.
The baby, who lived full-time with his mother in South Florida, was on a two-week visit with his father, Eddie Lee Daniels, when he died on Friday.

An autopsy report said the child suffered internal bleeding and serious head wounds including 'frontal bulging and retinal hemorrhaging behind the eyes' which were signs of 'possible abuse'.

The infant was pronounced dead at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children on Friday afternoon.

Police said Daniels, who lives with his sister, had been lying in bed with his son when the baby began to cry.

Daniels' sister changed and fed the child and placed him back in the bed before leaving for a trip to Lakeland. Daniels was alone with the infant for most of Friday, according to authorities. Police said the alleged murder took place at the Orlando home Daniels shared with his sister

Daniels told police he put the child in a carrier and later noticed that he wasn't moving so performed CPR. Sure he did...

The man, who called 911, denied dropping, spanking or striking the child and insisted the baby had shown no signs of distress before becoming unresponsive.

The baby's mother lives in south Florida and had left the baby with his father for a two-week visit. According to Wesh.com, the sister admitted Daniels has a strong temper but said she had never witnessed him abusing the child or any of her children who also share the home.

Daniels remains in Orange County jail with no bond.

An Orlando man accused of killing his 2-month-old son this weekend is a violent felon who has beaten women and children in the past, records show.

Eddie Lee Daniels, 24, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his infant son, Achilles Daniels, who died Saturday.

Public records show Daniels has been arrested more than a dozen times, mostly in Palm Beach County where he lived before moving to Orlando.

In 2008 he was arrested after he punched his then-girlfriend in the face and pushed her to the ground, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office records show. The woman's 5-year-old son saw Daniels strike his mother and tried to help her.

Daniels became angry and threw the boy into a coffee table, according to an incident report. He was later convicted of domestic battery and child abuse and sentenced to 90 days in Palm Beach County jail.

Orlando police records show Daniels was arrested in November after pushing his girlfriend and pulling her hair. When she refused to go inside of his home near Mercy Drive, he threatened to shoot her in the face, records show.

He was found guilty of battery and sentenced to two years state probation and 50 hours of community service.
