Tony Burdette wanted to get rid of his ex-wife in such a way that he would never have to see her face ever again, so he decided to set her tent on fire. One thing stood in his way; he didn’t know which tent to set on fire and picked the wrong tent. He picked the one that his daughter and two grandkids were in and set it on fire instead. Oh, I forgot to mention that his ex-mother-in-law was in the tent that he set fire to. Deputies say Burdette was stalking his ex-wife and they believe he was trying to harm her, no shit, Sherlock, what gave you your first clue, the fact that he set fire to the wrong tent? His ex-mother-in-law suffered second degree burns while trying to get everyone else out of the tent. She has been released from the hospital. Burdette is charged with Arson and four counts of Attempted Homicide.
