HOUSTON - FOX 26 News has learned a Houston Police officer has been arrested on accusations that he stabbed a man in a Galveston bar.

Miles Dumas, 24, and two others are accused of stabbing a man at a bar on the strand, Galveston Police say.

Investigators say Dumas exposed his genital area to a group of people inside that bar.

Galveston Police Chief Henry Porretto says Dumas and the two men fled the scene, but two were later caught and arrested. The second man has been identified as Michael Brady. Both are still behind bars in Galveston.

A Houston cop has been accused of flashing patrons of a Galveston bar and then getting in a tussle with some of them.

Police say Dumas, who's been with HPD for a year, was in Tsunami, a bar on the Strand, sortly after midnight Wednesday.

Witnesses said he exposed himself to male and female patrons, and when some objected a fight began. One bar-goer was hit in the jaw with a pistol and Dumas stabbed another, Galveston police told the News.

Dumas's Facebook page has been taken down, but those who've seen it said it contained several pictures of him partying.
