An Elgin man faces multiple charges after police said Wednesday he exposed himself four different times while watching girls in a subdivision near Elgin High School.
Antonio Nevarez, 24, of the 600 block of Dover Court, is charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a child and public indecency – all misdemeanors. He’s due in court next on June 6 at the Rolling Meadows branch of Cook County Circuit Court.
Between March 23 and April 3, Nevarez on four different occasions watched through open windows females inside his neighbor’s home in the Summerhill subdivision while exposing and fondling himself, police said. Three of the four incidents involved girls younger than 17, police said.
Each time, when the neighbor would call police, Nevarez would run away, police said, but on April 30 officers found Nevarez’s cell phone on the ground, leading to his arrest.
Nevarez is free from jail on bond, according to police.
