We used to have a bar here called the Midtowner, where in the basement bands would play all-ages gigs all the time. You'd walk into the women's restroom and there would be a teenage boy or two, sitting in the chairs or on the counters, having conversations with girls. You'd walk into the men's room, girls would be in there putting on makeup in the mirror or whatnot.

If you had an issue with a person of the other gender being in there when you did your business, you just said, "Excuse me. Can you all leave for a moment?"

Seriously though, we went there to eat greek food & listen to music. And the 5 men were dressed to the hilt! We were dressed in shorts & flipflop...they were in pearls & heels. So...not only did they stand out for obvious reasons but they didn't even TRY to blend in!!

I have no idea how many times I have used the guys restrooms because the women's line was way too long. Bars, sporting events, festivals, I don't care, when I have to pee I have to pee. I peed outside with 5 guys blocking me off one year at the Hoedown in Detroit, we all blocked each other off so none of us got arrested LOL

you go to the bathroom there (porta pottys or underground bathrooms are even more dangerous) you run the risk of ending up in Detroit river

That's what I was trying to say, but not very well. If she was just trying to use the bathroom, then there was no need for anybody to call the cops in the first place.
