    Steadfast Dog Guards Owner's Bike

    A funny kinda story for a change

    Guard dogs are a common enough thing. But one devoted dog took it a step further as he diligently stood watch, standing still on his haunches, no less.
    A Golden Retriever from China stood guard over his owner’s bicycle while he was gone on some errands.
    The dog sat alertly and rested his paws on the rear carrier as he watched the speeding cars and passers-by on the street. He took his canine duty seriously and didn’t pay attention to amazed onlookers who snapped photos of him.
    When his owner arrived back, the dog wagged his tail excitedly. He climbed the rear carrier, taking a seat in preparation for departure. Once he was settled, he barked, letting his owner know he was ready.
