Ex-Humane Society Worker Charged For Videotaped Sex With Dog

Clearwater, FL — Officials with a Florida Humane Society are presumably reviewing policies on workplace fraternization after an ex-employee – and boyfriend of current HS medical director – was charged with having sex with a dog.
Eric Antunes, 29, was arrested after police reportedly found child pornography and evidence of his own act of bestiality in his possession.
Clearwater police began investigating Antunes after getting a tip that he possessed child pornography. A search of the computer yielded nine explicit photos and one explicit video depicting children, detectives said. According to police, he has admitted to downloading and viewing the child pornography on his home computer. A check of Antunes’ cell phone then revealed “several images of bestiality” involving Antunes and his girlfriend’s dog, police said.*Ruh-roh.
The situation is a bit unique because, as it turns out, Antunes was a past employee of the Pinellas Humane Society and the girlfriend is the current medical director. Clearwater Public Communications Director Joelle Castelli said police do not have evidence that Williamson was aware Antunes was taking photos of himself engaged in sex acts with her pit-bull mix.
“We cannot prove that she had any knowledge of this going on,” Castelli said. “My understanding is that she did not know it was happening, and we showed her pictures.”
Antunes was charged Tuesday with 10 counts of possessing child pornography and is being held at the Pinellas County Jail.…

Usually perverts like to keep their kinks to one genre or another, but apparently Eric Antunes' twisted sexual appetite wasn't fulfilled by just one form of deviance. Police busted Antunes, a Clearwater resident, after getting a tip he had child pornography, but then also discovered he'd been cheating on his girlfriend with her own dog. Good thing we finally have those anti-bestiality laws in Florida.

Update: Turns out Atunes worked at the Humane Society -- and his girlfriend was the Pinellas chapter's medical director. Workers at the shelter disagree about whether Atunes could have been left alone with the dogs.

Police arrived at Antunes' home after receiving the tip he might be hoarding child porn. According to the Tampa Bay Times, Antunes admitted to downloading and watching child porn and let authorities search his hard drive. Nine photos and one video were uncovered.

But when they searched Antunes' cell phone they found something else: pictures of him having sex with his girlfriend's dog.

The alleged sex criminal was charged with 10 counts of possessing of child pornography. The local state attorney's office will decide whether to charge him on counts of animal cruelty.

As you remember, a law banning bestiality in Florida finally went into effect last October. If he's charged, Antunes could be one of the first few people prosecuted under the new law.

Update: The Tampa Bay Times reports this morning that Atunes worked at the Pinellas County Humane Society, where his girlfriend was the medical director. Atunes was a contract worker at the shelter; the society's director of development, Twila Cole, tells the Times he was "never on the property working unsupervised."

But a former coworker contradicts that, telling the paper that Atunes was in charge of the medical kennels, where he would care for and walk abused dogs.

It's even worse than that... While @Whisper was formatting and adding the picture, the keystroke logging program that I surreptitiously installed on her computer had relayed the text of her posting to me - in its entirety - allowing me to quickly rewrite it, post it up front seconds before her, and then claim complete ownership of it.

Man who had sex with dog won't be charged because of unusual reason

The Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney's Office has declined to pursue a charge of animal cruelty under the state's new bestiality law against a man accused of having oral sex with a dog.

In 2011, the Florida Legislature passed a bill outlawing bestiality, a first-degree misdemeanor, by a unanimous vote.

But there is a gap in the law: It doesn't forbid oral sex with an animal.

Assistant State Attorney Beverly Andringa said her office declined to prosecute Antunes for bestiality because, out of the six photographs found on his cellphone, only one "would meet the strict criteria of the statute."

Officials also aren't certain when all the photos were taken. Some might have predated the new law.

Rick Chaboudy, executive director of the Suncoast Animal League, said the Legislature should "do away with the gray areas" in the law.

WE ARE SAVED from that mental image! I ran across this that further explains the loophole. He WAS letting the 3-legged dog lick him.

So what is the "loophole"? An attorney interviewed by the Huffington Post points out that the law forbids any contact between an animal's sex organ and a human mouth, but only forbids "penetration" of a human sex organ into an animal's mouth.

In other words, if a person made sexual contact with an animal's mouth, but was not "penetrating" the mouth, such contact may technically be permitted under the current law. A hypothetical example would be a dog licking a man's genitals, says the attorney, who wishes to remain anonymous.

Antunes was allegedly on the receiving end of the "oral sex," according to the Miami News Times.

WHAT?????!!! Frak me. People are stupid, did they not think to put that in the law? (I mean really, there HAS to be a law for that in the first place)???

This help just a tad. The new explanation is just as bad. I was told by my vet thatI should not feed my dogs weenies. This guy should have gone to the same vet and he wouldn't be in this mess.
