Palm Tran on Wednesday released bus surveillance video that captured the mugging of two elderly sisters April 12 outside a Publix supermarket west of Boca Raton.
The video aboard the Palm Tran bus shows a robber on a Razor scooter snatch the purse of an 84-year-old victim who was pushing her 96-year-old sister in a wheelchair onto the bus. Both women are seen falling to the ground outside the store, 9886 Glades Road.
The video shows frantic passengers rush off the bus to help the two women as the bus driver calls police.

Bardisa, of Boca Raton, was arrested Monday on charges of strong-arm robbery and aggravated battery on a person over 65.
He remains in the Palm Beach County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Bardisa allegedly tailed the unsuspecting women on his scooter as they shopped, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Publix surveillance photos show him standing close behind the pair as they purchased money orders for $500 and $120 inside the supermarket, then following them to the bus stop.
People waiting for a Palm Tran bus with the sisters outside the store noticed the teen wheel back and forth on the scooter minutes before the robbery.
When the No. 91 bus arrived around 4:30 p.m., witnesses boarding ahead of the sisters heard their screams and saw the teen yanking a large brown purse attached to the wheelchair, shoving both sisters to the ground.
Witnesses ran after the scooter, the Sheriff's Office said, and the bus driver called 911.
The robber got away with $1,200 in cash, a $5,000 Patek Philippe watch and a $1,000 gold bracelet, according to a Sheriff's Office report. Two Medicare cards, two Social Security cards and a credit card were gone, too.
Bardisa allegedly escaped with an accomplice in a gold-colored, 4-door sedan, the Sheriff's Office said. Investigators have not announced the arrest of the accomplice.
