Mother Pleads Guilty To Having Sexual Relationship With Her Teenage Son

Nice, CA – A woman in California is facing a myriad of incest related charges after allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with her 16-year-old, biological son.
Mistie Atkinson, 32, has been charged with charged with incest, oral copulation of a minor, contact with a minor for a sexual offense and sending harmful matter to a minor*after police found her in a hotel room with her son.
Aside from sending nude photos of herself to her son and engaging in explicit conversations that included running away together, police say they also have videos captured from the boy’s cell phone that show his mother allegedly performing oral sex on her son as well as engaging in sexual intercourse. Both where aware*they are biological mother and son.
Atkinson has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is currently being held in the*the Napa County Jail*on a $200,000 bail. The boy’s father, who has sole custody, has*obtained a restraining order against her.
This story is almost*identical*to another woman we posted about back in 2009. Aimee Sword is the 35-year-old Michigan woman accused of having a sexual relationship with her biological son she had given up for adoption. The sexual relationship began after they reconnected via the Internet.…

Earlier this month we reported on 32-year-old Mistie Atkinson, the woman who was caught having sex with her biological, teenage son. She was arrested and charged with incest, oral copulation of a minor, contact with a minor for a sexual offense and sending harmful matter to a minor after police found her in a hotel room with her son.
Atkinson has not had contact with her 16-year-old son since she gave him up 14 years ago, but the pair reunited in a most devious way late last year after Atkinson contacted him via Facebook.
Within two months the teen’s father, who has sole custody, filed a restraining order against Atkinson after the conversations between her and her son became as increasingly inappropriate as they were sinister.
“She started to have a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship with him, not a mother-and-son relationship,” the man said, according to court documents. “It got to a point where their conversation began talking about harming me and killing off her boyfriend she was (now) living with.”
Police say they have proof Atkinson sent her son nude photos of herself and engaged in explicit conversations that included the two running away together.*Even more damning are the videos police recovered from the teen’s cell phone that show Atkinson blowing her son’s horn as well as the two engaging in sexual intercourse.…

The California mom who slept with her estranged teen son says she didn't commit incest - it was "genetic attraction."

Mistie Rebecca Atkinson, 32, was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison on Wednesday in Napa County Superior Court, according to the Napa Valley Register.

In May, Atkinson, of Lake County, Calif., pleaded no contest to incest, oral copulation, lewd contact with a minor and distribution of lewd material to a minor, the newspaper reports.

But in a letter to the court, Atkinson said she doesn't consider what she did as incest.

"I don't feel like I should have the charge of incest because there is something called genetic attraction that is a very powerful (phenomenon) that happens to 50 (percent) of people becoming reunited with a long-lost relative," she wrote.
